Craig Weinrib presents a collaborative trio featuring Martin Nevin and Sam Harris, performing compositions for trap drums, double bass, and piano by all three ensemble members. Their music toggles between blueviolet reflections on the natural world and a poignant urbanism, and skews gentle. Weinrib, Nevin, and Harris have played together for over a decade while working with some of the most progressive artists in musical sound, including Henry Threadgill, Billy Hart, Albert "Tootie" Heath, Ambrose Akinmusire, Sam Wilkes, Amen Dunes, and Sam Gendel.
