Guitarist Liberty Ellman has been collaborating with some of the most creative thinkers in jazz for many years. A major contributor to Henry Threadgill's band Zooid, Ellman has also worked with Joe Lovano, Vijay Iyer, Myra Melford, Steve Lehman, Rudresh Mahanthappa and many more. This concert features new compositions that highlight this ensembles dynamic approach to rhythm, with equal attention to strong melodic flow.
