I came in the afternoon with family to celebrate my brother in laws birthday. We are all English and were hoping for some authentic food. When we arrived we were the ONLY people in the place. The waitress was lovely but the food took AGES to come. I ordered bangers and mash, desperately hoping for something similar to the real deal. It was utterly disgusting. It was Italian sausage cut up, covered in green peppers on top of lumpy mash. My brother in law had the fish and chips touted as the best in Virginia. It wasn’t cod or haddock but white fish. This might not be a big deal to some but if your gonna say your an English pub then you have SOME standard to live up to. Maybe this place is a cool night spot but I wouldn’t know and I wouldn’t come back.

I met a new friend and he suggested this special place, which was just what I needed. Live music (with kind, talented musicians) and just the nicest staff and a menu with something for everyone. A laid-back environment with people who shared pearls of wisdom and their experiences.

Great atmosphere, especially during busy nights, but they serve their beer in glasses that are 1-2 ounces smaller than normal pints.

This place isn’t a wine bar. They have a subpar wine collection, no let me rephrase, they have little to no wine at all. The few wine they do have can be ordered from the dollar store, and the beer was still. Live music or karaoke is a hoax! Don’t waste your time on this place.
