About Us:

Formed in 1984, the Madison Jazz Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting jazz music.  We are located in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin where we host jazz concerts and our annual Capital City Jazz Festival.

Jazz Society members enjoy discount tickets to performances by world class jazz musicians, such as the Jim Cullum Jazz Band, the Buck Creek Jazz Band, and Banu Gibson & Her New Orleans Hot Jazz Orchestra, and a bi-monthly newsletter featuring coverage of the jazz scene in and around the Madison area as well as a calendar of upcoming jazz concerts and festivals around the country.

We are proud to sponsor Wisconsin Public Radio's broadcast of Riverwalk - Live from the Landing.  This weekly program of jazz airs on Public Radio International affiliate stations across the country and  features the Jim Cullum Jazz Band.

Don't forget to check out our 20th Anniversary CD... a mix of local and national talent, eras and styles of jazz.
